- Conventional Fire alarm systems are one of the common and reliable systems. These are set up so that they can detect a fire in a certain room, area or zone. But note, that when one is triggered, they do not identify the exact source of the issue unlike many other systems. This can make it difficult to locate the actual source of the fire.
- Wireless Alarm Fire alarm systems that that let you know exactly where the fire is located, with pin point accuracy. As they are wireless, they can be cheaper to install as there is no cabling. But these require monitoring as often the systems are battery powered which can as all batteries run out.
- Analogue fire alarm systems are similar to the conventional fire alarms but each sensor has ID or address meaning these do clearly display the source of the fire on their central control panel.
- Networked fire alarm systems are found in bigger premises, often those consisting of multiple buildings. These systems detect fires and alarms with accuracy, with the location being displayed on one or multiple monitors.
- Monitored Fire alarm systems are exactly as the name describes. These systems are often monitored via third parties and mean that your premises is being watched over even when no one is there.
